Border Area Development Programme (BADP)

4. Representatives of BADP States Members
5. Pr. Advisers (SP)/Advisers (SP) dealing with BADP States Members
6. Adviser (MLP), Planning Commission Member Secretary

Terms of reference :

  1. To review the impact of the BADP and bring out achievementa and failures, if any, together with necessary remedial measures;
  2. To recommend policy framework for the development of areas under BADP during Tenth Five Year Plan, keeping in view the status of the development, needs and aspirations of the local people;
  3. To identify activities which fit into the specific needs of the areas under BADP;
  4. To suggest strategies and measures for long-term integrated development of the areas under the programme; and
  5. To suggest administrative, operational and organisational measures both at the Centre and the State level for effective implementation and monitoring of the Programme.
